For example, sometime in the middle of March, I decided to plant some flowers outside and took Fenway with me for company. I worked out this contraption to tether her to a tree outside so that she could have some limited freedom. The big problem is that I forge that she is not a little baby puppy anymore. She sure did snap the Red Sox leash and surprise me with a dog nose on my neck. So, I took a picture of the leash that had been snapped and a clueless Fenway so that I could blog about the silly girl.
The end of March, we went on a cruise with our friends Jana and Derek. While snapping away happily, I was planning on updating the blog. Instead, here is picture of us on the ship:

The highlight of Lauryn's stay on the ship, dancing with the professional dancers:
Tom parasailed in Cozumel and Lauryn and I shopped. Here she is proving that she was meant to vacation in Mexico:
We beached in Cozumel and the Grand Caymans. The consensus was that Cozumel was a better beach experience. Of all the destinations, our Jamaican excursion was the best. We climbed Dunn's River Falls, a 300 foot waterfall cutting through the Jamaican rain forest. Although the poverty of Jamaica is very disheartening, the people continue to say "no problem" and that attitude paired with the island's amazing beauty makes me eager to return.
Since being home, we have enjoyed spending a lot of time with our friends. We have SharkFested and enjoyed the company of our Houston family. We are so blessed. So, I am confessing to being a terrible blogger, but it has been worth it because I have been able to share laughter and tears with family and friends.
